On windy days when it's not fine enough to go to the beach, visitors staying in the Lozari region may like to walk along the coast to admire the Genoese Tour de Lozari. From here, you'll have a bird's eye view of the waves on the beach and you may even be able to watch the exploits of windsurfers out at sea. This Genoese tower is in good condition on one side and completely in ruins on the other. To the east, the tower overlooks Lozari beach, then beyond towards the coast of the Désert des Agriates; to the west, the plateau on which the tower stands partially masks the view of the coast. You can however just make out the Île de la Pietra near Île-Rousse with its lighthouse and Genoese tower.
