Route du Port, 20145
In the heart of the Domaine of Solenzara, this building initially housed a stable that allowed the priests of the region to rest the horses that transported the wood that was gathered in the Fium?Orbu. In the mid-XIX century, the population of the village of Solenzara grew a great deal, and the owner of the estate decided to turn the stable into a church. Due to a lack of funds, only half the building, divided lengthways, was transformed. The belfry was added in 1920, by Abbot Renucci, who also raised the church by a metre. The current roof and beams, restored around 1970, were inspired by those of a church in the outskirts of Alger. The patronal feast of Saint Paul is on 30th June.
