La Tour de Campomoro bâtie au XVIe par les Génois, est la plus grande des tours de Corse (15m de haut). Son l'originalité réside dans la fortification d'un mur d'enceinte en étoile. Restaurée en 1986, elle appartient au Conservatoire du Littoral. Au premier étage, une exposition permanente retrace l' histoire des tours Génoises en Corse et l'invasion des Barbaresques ( illustrations de Rafaelli ) Sa gestion a été confiée à l'Office de tourisme, office de pôle du Sartenais Valinco Taravo. Elle est ouverte d'Avril à Octobre et sur réservation hors cette période. Tarif : 3,5€ gratuit pour les -12 ans.

Built in the 16C by the Genoese, the Tour de Campomoro is the largest tower in Corsica, standing at a height of 15m. Unusual in that its fortified walls are built in a star shape, the tower was restored in 1986 and now belongs to the Conservatoire du Littoral association. A permanent exhibition on the first floor retraces the history of Genoese towers in Corsica and the invasion of the Barbary Coast pirates (illustrations by Rafaelli). The exhibition is administered by the Sartenais Valinco Taravo tourist office and is open from April to October and by prior reservation at other times of year. Price: 3.50?; free for children under 12.
La Torre di Campomoro costruita nel XVI°secolo dai genovesi, è la più grande delle torri della Corsica (15m di altezza). La sua originalità risiede nella fortificazione di un muro di cinta a stella. Ristrutturata nel 1986, appartiene oggi al Conservatoire du Litoral. Il primo piano, ospita una mostra permanente che ripercorre la storia delle torri genovesi in Corsica e l'invasione dei barbari (illustrazioni Rafaelli.) La sua gestione è stata affidata all'Ufficio del Turismo, all'Ufficio del polo Sartenais Valinco Taravo. E' aperta da aprile a ottobre e solo su appuntamento al di fuori di questo periodo.
