Ostriconi Beach is located approximately 15 km from the Ile-Rousse in the direction of Bastia, on the edge of the Agriate desert. Accessible only by foot via a pathway leading from the former main road, the beach can be found at the mouth of the river of the same name. And at the heart of a landscape that has remained wild, far away from all urban development. The beach is supervised in the summer season and walkers can enjoy the customs officer’s coastal path which starts at its far end. During high winds, be sure to follow the instructions at the first-aid station; the waves may be dangerous for adults and children alike.
