Historic site and monument : Tower
Presentation
On the Parata peninsula west of Ajaccio, about 11 km from the center, on a rocky granite spur stands the Genoese tower built in 1550-1551 by Giacomo Lombardo. A signposted path allows you to discover the flora and fauna and to appreciate the Sanguinaires Islands as closely as possible (accessible only by seasonal boat). The whole of the Sanguinaires peninsula and archipelago is committed to a Grand Site de France labeling process.
