Presentation
This ruined château was founded by the Carolingians (IX and X century, most likely). Recently consolidated, it provides a spectacular view over the plain. The site includes ruins from a variety of eras: - a prehistoric triple fortified compound, - ruins of important houses from the XV, XVI, XVII century that can still be seen today, emerging from the dense maquis.
