As part of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Corsica, the Bastia Museum offers to help us (re)discover how the Corsicans experienced the Second World War.
Through nearly 500 objects, works of art, documents and around twenty multimedia items, a dive into the daily life of the island population is presented.
From the Italian occupation to the American presence, from fashion to rationing, a multitude of new themes and aspects are evoked in a modern scenography immersing the visitor in the years 1939-1945. This exhibition is accompanied by a catalog of more than 300 pages.
