"A hugely important artistic and cultural medium, the comic strip has the great advantage of taking a variety of forms and the ability to attract readers of every type and every age group. The festival programme includes an opportunity to discover new albums and meet authors, book signings, ""drawing concerts"", featuring a mix of music and live drawing sessions which are visible on giant screens, and the screening of animated films in several venues across the town. The festival is a way of bringing a popular art form out on to the streets, while at the same time highlighting one of Corsica's main assets : its natural heritage. "
