The Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée in Corsica

  • The AOP Corse Calvi, located between Calvi and Isula, profiles highly distinctive, aromatic, structured wines with a strong character.

  • The Ajaccio PDO, a very old wine-growing area, its wines are elegant, very fruity, with spicy and mineral aromas.

  • The Figari PDO, the oldest vineyard in Corsica: fruity wines, very varied, colourful, full-bodied and with fine minerality and intense colour nuances.

  • AOP Corse Porto-Vecchio: battered by the winds, the vines become more robust, producing expressive citrus wines that are bright, spicy, fruity and juicy.

  • Patrimonio PDO: situated at the foot of Cap Corse, the vineyards benefit from a remarkable geological quality, producing beautiful, fruity whites that are round and full-bodied, while the reds are full-bodied.

  • The Sartène PDO covers two areas, the Tizzanu region and the Ortulu valley. These are typical Vermentinu wines, light, fruity and generous.

  • Muscat du Cap Corse PDO, suspended vineyards that give complexity and a rare delicacy to the profiles of highly aromatic, rich and very complex natural sweet wines.

  • The AOP Corse, the only regional appellation, stretches along the eastern coast. Balanced, lively, supple profiles, with pale, brilliant nuances.
