Not far, the 18-hole Sperone golf course is ranking among some of the World’s most beautiful golf courses; sitting on limestone cliffs a 80 hectare estate overlooking the straits between Corsica and Sardinia, it is located near Bonifacio, which fortifications from the 11th century and cobbled streets overlook the elegant marina. A unique setup, at the very southern tip of the island and an eventual unique game situation from Tee N°16, as you have to “drive” over the pristine local seas !
On the eastern coastline, between Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio is the Lezza golf course ; on 11 hectares, the 9-hole course is organized on a gentle natural topography and meets advanced and beginner players, as the course is technical yet accessible; Built just by a swamp, it is surrounded by local maquis and overlooks the wonderful bay of Santa Giulia.
Further north, on the way to l’Ile Rousse, sits the 9-hole Reginu Golf course. Located in the Balagne region (north-west), the golf course is planted with olive trees and overlooked by picturesque nearby villages of Speluncato, Feliceto and the town of Calvi, further west. Villages around provide genuine local p^roducts as diverse as: olive oil, cheese, wine and many other treats! Reginu golf course offers friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a natural environment.
The Borgo Golf Course is located 20 km south from Bastia; it is the oldest course in the island, built in 1987; it delivers pleasant and friendly 9-hole course ideally situated between the town of Bastia, the Castagniccia region and the area of Cap Corse & Saint Florent.
GIGA Golf Club is located in Porticcio, 15km south from Ajaccio; the simple and flat setup is ideal for beginners and the 6-hole course is fun to play; a practice and golf lessons from certified instructor are available for kids or adults.
