The Baracci Baths: health, well-being and pleasure

Fully renovated in 2014, the Baracci baths are open all year, whether you are a curist or a simple visitor looking for pleasure.

What seduces me when I arrive here is the natural environment in which the baths sit – fields as far as the eye can see, with the village of Olmeto perched a few hundred meters above. The whole setting is tranquil, and utterly conducive to relaxation.

Entering through the large wrought iron gate, you can choose between several options: naturally sulphurous water pools maintained at 38° (indoor and outdoor) ideal for healing skin problems, a relaxing Jacuzzi, a hammam, a hydro-massage bath, a shower with affusion or a sauna. By appointment, I also tested out the hot-stone massage, ideal for relaxation.

At the end of the day, I browsed the on-site shop packed full of organic cosmetics: myrtle and nepita soaps, Corsican herbal shower gels and sulphurous water.
