The four-star Casa Murina is Corsica’s first eco-friendly cultural boutique hotel. It makes the utmost effort to keep energy consumption low and practise sustainable tourism, with thermal insulation, solar panels, a heat pump, LED lighting with presence detectors, systematic water-saving devices for linen, dishes and water flow from bathrooms and toilets. The garden is designed to be ecological too, thanks to its composition of Corsican maquis species and drip irrigation system.

There is careful selective sorting and customer awareness. Purchases are made as locally as possible and stocks are rationed to limit waste.

At the heart of the Corsica, close to Propriano, Sartène and the famous lion of Roccapina, the Casa Murina welcomes you into an intimate guesthouse atmosphere with breakfast based on Corsican products or from organic farming.
