Day 1 Bastia-Macinaggio
Distance: 50 km / D+: 550 m
Cap Corse offers a magnificent coastal road that takes you all the way around.
The cornice-shaped road runs along the shore, past pretty little seaside resorts.
Day 2 Macinaggio-Saint-Florent
Distance: 69 km / D+: 800 m
On the western slope, the steep coast dominates the shoreline in spectacular fashion, overlooked by Genoese towers and windmills on the crests.
Its higher elevations offer superb panoramic views of the Cape and the Bay of Saint-Florent.
3rd day Saint-Florent-Algajola
Distance: 54 km / D+: 712 m
The stage begins with a crossing of the Agriates desert, a scorching mass of rocky terrain and low-growing scrubland. Finally, the promontory villages of upper Balagne offer breathtaking panoramic views over the bays of Calvi and Ile Rousse.

The magnificent Santa Regina Parade is the highlight of today's stage. You'll then reach Corte, the historic capital of independent Corsica.
Day 9 Corte-Vivario/Ghisonaccia
Distance: 65 km / D+: 1311 m
You'll head back towards Ghisoni, passing through some very pretty villages typical of the Vénacaise region. You'll also pass through the magnificent Inzecca gorge.
Day 10 Vivario/Ghisonaccia-Zicavo
Distance: 62 km / D+: 1179 m
Magnificent stage today with passage over the Col de Verde and the Haut Taravo region.
Day 11 Zicavo-Zonza/Quenza
Distance: 63 km / D+: 1313 m
Passage over the Col de la Vaccia, then discovery of the magnificent Alta Rocca region and the Aiguilles de Bavella.
Day 12 Zonza/Quenza-Bonifacio
Distance: 77 km / D+: 823 m
This stage may seem a little long, but once you've passed the Ospédale (magnificent!), you'll be on your way down to the white cliffs of Bonifacio.
