YOUR DAY-BY-DAY PROGRAM

Day 1: Bastia-Ersa
Distance: 50 km / Elevation gain: 440 m

A magnificent first leg to warm up!
The route runs along the coastline and past the small marinas so typical of the east coast of Cap Corse!
For those who prefer, a more challenging version is available!

Day 2: Ersa-Saint-Florent
Distance: 64 km / Elevation gain: 770 m

On the western slope of Cap Corse, the steep coastline dramatically dominates the shore, overlooked by Genoese towers and windmills on the ridges. Its higher elevations offer superb panoramas of the Cap and the Bay of Saint-Florent.

Day 3: Saint-Florent-Belgodère
Distance: 64 km / Elevation gain: 890 m

The stage begins by crossing the Agriates Desert, a scorching mound of rocks and low scrub. Finally, the promontory villages of the Haute Balagne offer breathtaking panoramic views of the bays of Calvi and Île Rousse.

Day 4: Belgodère-Algajola
Distance: 55 km / Elevation gain: 992 m

Several options for this day:

Rest, relax, and hit the beach, or hop back on your bike and explore the magnificent villages of Balagne via a secondary road route. Numerous artisans are to be discovered in each of these villages.

Day 5: Algajola-Galeria
Distance: 62 km / Elevation gain: 1,101 m

Crossing the Marsolinu Pass with a beautiful view of the Calvados region, Galeria is isolated by the sea, at the mouth of the Fango Valley. This village is a haven of peace amidst the summer hustle and bustle.

Day 6: Galeria-Porto
Distance: 50 km / Elevation gain: 575 m

The road leads us towards the rich western coast of Corsica. At the Palmarella Pass, one of the most beautiful panoramas of the trip awaits us: the Gulf of Girolata and the Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The flora and fauna of this entire region are exceptional.

Day 7
Porto-Ajaccio
Distance: 70 km / Elevation gain: 1,070 m

We continue towards Cargèse and its two churches: the Greek and the Latin, which face each other above the sea.

The stage continues along the coastline and the sublime beaches of Cargèse and Sagone.

You will then take a small road to skirt the San Bastianu Pass. The feeling of driving on water is fantastic!
